If you ask me what I do, I’ll tell you I'm a barber. But being a barber is about more than cutting hair ­– it’s about helping clients look their best and feel confident as they step out into the world.

My creative talents are wide-ranging: I started in graphic design and went on to become a chef, most notably at the award-winning Charlie Trotter’s and later at my own restaurant, Two Sparrows. My long-time interest in barbering culminated with my decision in 2015 to enroll in barber school, allowing me to combine my eye for detail with a personal connection that was missing in my previous roles.
